These terms cover your use of Boulder Cup and its supporting website, provided by Artur Janas, trading as IX Design, United Kingdom. Contact: support@ix-design.uk.
About the game
Boulder Cup is a casual climbing game for personal entertainment. It is in development for iOS and Android. Screenshots show a development build; features, scoring and availability may change before release. The game is not instruction or safety advice for real-world climbing.
Using Boulder Cup
You may use the game for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment, subject to these terms, applicable law and the terms of the store through which you obtain it. You must meet the age and consent requirements that apply to your use of that store. If you cannot agree to these terms yourself, a parent or guardian must do so where required by law.
Do not interfere with the service, submit manipulated scores, exploit bugs to affect other players’ rankings, distribute malicious code, or use the service unlawfully. Nothing here restricts activities that applicable law expressly permits.
Scores and fair play
The online scoreboard shows the three highest accepted runs and their country labels. Rankings, scoring rules and records may change as the game is updated. We may correct or remove invalid or manipulated entries, or reset records when reasonably necessary to fix errors or maintain fair play. Contact support if you think a score has been handled incorrectly.
Scores and medals are in-game achievements. They have no monetary value and do not create a right to payment, prizes or permanent leaderboard placement.
App stores and purchases
Availability, pricing and any purchase options will be shown in the relevant App Store or Google Play listing before purchase. We do not currently advertise a subscription or paid entitlement. Any future paid offering will include its applicable price and conditions at the point of purchase.
Apple or Google handles payments made through its store. Refund requests and store-account issues should be raised through the relevant store, without affecting any statutory rights you may have against us.
For the iOS app, Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement applies unless a custom licence is provided in its listing. Android distribution is subject to the applicable Google Play terms. These website terms supplement applicable store agreements and do not override mandatory platform terms.
Ownership
The game, artwork, sound and website are owned by Artur Janas or their respective licensors. You do not acquire ownership by downloading or using them. Do not redistribute or commercially exploit our assets without permission, except where the law allows it. Apple, Google and other third-party marks belong to their respective owners.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how the current game and website handle information and describes the live scoreboard service. We will review it for the final game release.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to provide a working, enjoyable game, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that every device will be supported. Development versions may contain errors. We may make reasonable changes, fix bugs, or discontinue features; where appropriate, we will explain significant changes.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Your statutory consumer rights, including rights relating to digital content, remain unaffected.
Changes, questions and disputes
We may update these terms as the game develops. The current version and revision date will be available here. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate and will not remove accrued statutory rights.
Please contact support@ix-design.uk first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. These terms do not deprive you of mandatory protections or access to courts available under the laws of your country of residence.
